The National Techno-Management Symposium of GTC, JIGYASA ’14, a three day event was inaugurated by Mr. Purushottam Khandelwal, General Manager, ’BOSCH’, Jaipur.
Top functionaries of GTC, faculty members and students from across the country witnessed the mega tech fest. More than 2000 students from 20 engineering colleges across the nation participated in scores of technical and non technical competitions. In his inaugural address, Mr. Khandelwal spoke about what the industry expects from engineering students. Jigyasa14 comprised 6 arenas. The first day of the Symposium turned out to be the most happening one with a huge number of participation in Robotics, Paper presentations, LAN gaming followed by Dalal Street. The day ended with the spelling competition “Spell-bee” and the intra-college event, MIG (Most Intellectual GTCian)
On the second day, a series of competitions including Soft-arena, Literary arena, final round of Brain Scissor and Robo- Soccer were conducted. The highlight of the day was the fun events such as Scripture, Hunkar and Galli Cricket. War of Bands presented on the final day unleashed the musical talents of the participants.
The Valedictory ceremony was presided over by Mr. Ashwin Dalvi, a classical musician and owner of a Jaipur based musical studio named Naad Sadhana and the special guest was Mr. Raj Kumar Bhutra, the Founder of Jigyasa and an alumnus of 2008 batch. The three day symposium drew to close with keynote address by Mr. Ragvendra Patidar, convener of Jigyasa 14, prize distribution and vote of thanks by the student coordinators, Surya Bharadwaj, Harshil Jain, Yash Nagar and Akshay Goyal
