Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was organized by Department of Electronics & Communication Engg. of Global Institute of Technology under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology and Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahmadabad from 15th -17th February 2018. The world acclaimed Prof. (Dr) Ved Sarvotham gave his valuable insights about the “Entrepreneurship Preparations and Challenges”. He is Ph.D. in Marketing Management. MS in HR Management and International Business. Post Graduate Diploma in PR and Communication science. Wonderful, job profile with current designation as International Director – SAARC – New York – Western Union, worked in University of Columbia- Project Director – Tropical Health challenges in India, Boeing group – Director of Operations – Aviation /Cyber Technology – India, Randy’s Ring and Pinion- Country Director – India ( Automobile industry) , J&B Software – USA- Project Director and International Director, Dr Reddy Labs- Director -USA ( Drug research wing), SWIFT Banking Network – Senior Director and in Reckitt & Beckman – Marketing Manager – India. Second Session was started with impressive talk of Mr. Hitesh Chaudhary, CEO, Learn code. Mr. Chaudhary discussed modern programming language and simulation tool & how to launch your own Startup. Mr. Raj Bhutra, CEO, GEARS Energy Solutions & Mr. Amrit Sethiya, CEO, Lekki Industries were the guest speakers on the second day. Mr. Bhutra interactively discussed Financial Aspects, Planning for Startup and the major challenges. Product selection, planning, background work for the Startup and guidelines for the students were beautifully covered by Mr. Amrit Sethiya. Dr. Renu Joshi, Director, GIT discussed the importance of the Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp. Dr. Ranjan Upadhyay, Professor, HR, and Mr. Raghavendra Patidar, HOD, ECE gave the vote of thanks at the end of the session. On the third day of the training i.e. 17th February 2018, an industrial visit was organised for the students to expose them to the industrial environment. The visit was organized at the Gears Energy Solutions, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Students visualized the automation process, manufacturing of transformer, LEDs and Solar Panels.
