International Workshop cum Seminar on ” Preparedness Before Rolling Out” was organized at Global Technical Campus for Faculties and Students on 31st Jan 2018. The world acclaimed Prof. (Dr) Ved Sarvotham gave his valuable insights about the “Preparedness Before Rolling Out”. He incorporated with little difference that makes some positive impact on this planet by helping other human beings and creatures. He is Ph.D. in Marketing Management. MS in HR Management and International Business. Post Graduate Diploma in PR and Communication science. Wonderful, job profile with current designation as International Director – SAARC – New York – Western Union, worked in University of Columbia- Project Director – Tropical Health challenges in India, Boeing group - Director of Operations – Aviation /Cyber Technology – India, Randy’s Ring and Pinion- Country Director – India ( Automobile industry) , J&B Software – USA- Project Director and International Director, Dr Reddy Labs- Director -USA ( Drug research wing), SWIFT Banking Network – Senior Director and in Reckitt & Beckman – Marketing Manager – India. His thrust areas are Conscious Relationship at work and personal life. And for the students of the final Year challenges and jumps start for a career. For women and Men working together challenges. Art of concentration and focus simple steps for students. He is the master in the number of Indian languages Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Urdu and English (Little). He has traveled in eighteen countries. His passion is for reading and nature. He concludes with the best word for the Hon Director, Dr. Renu Joshi, GIT, Jaipur. Three Days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp was organized on 18th-20th January 2018 by Department of Applied Science under the aegis of DST-NIMAT and EDI, Ahmadabad. On First Day, Mr. Sumit Srivastava, Founder, Gensus Edutainers motivated first year students about Identification of opportunities for Entrepreneurs. At the end of the session, Dr. Renu Joshi, Director, GIT felicitated Guest Speaker Mr. Srivastava. On Second Day, Alumni Mr. Salil Jain, M.D., Achtung Labs was Guest speaker and shared about Entrepreneurship experiences and current scenario in Entrepreneurship. At the end of the session, Dr. Ranjan Upadhyay, Professor & Head, HR and Dr. Sanjay Bansal, HEAD, Dept. of Applied Science , Director, GIT felicitated Guest Speaker Mr. Jain. Industrial Visit was organized at FRUBON Jaipur Plant on the third day. Students learned about automation process and product manufacturing process.
Five days Short Term Course on “Student Evaluation” commenced from 8-12 January, 2018 by NITTTR- Chandigarh through ICT mode in GIT campus, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Total six topics including the rubric formation were covered by different resources person / professors of NITTTR Chandigarh in five different days including inauguration session on the first day. The topics covered were:
1) Evaluation: Concept, Types & Purposes of Student Evaluation
2) Learning outcomes and Evaluation Techniques
3) Guidelines for Writing Test Items
4) Evaluating Practical work: Design of Rubrics
5) Design of Rubric for Practical Work for Student
6) Participation presentation of each session
Thirty faculties from different departments participated in this five days program in GIT Jaipur. Best part of the STC was the each session was well covered with the different assignments / tasks. The programme coordinator was Dr. Ranjan Upadhyaya, Professor & Head – HR, GIT, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The last day ended with the group discussion, faculty’s feedback & valediction functions from all the ICT – Nodal centers who conducted this programme in association with NITTTR, Chandigarh.

ICT Based One Week Short Term Training Program onProject Management Skills for Managing Business Ventures conducted by EDIC Dept. of NITTTR, Chandigarh w.e.f. 04 – 08 December 2017 in the Institute. Local Coordinator Prof, (Dr.) A K Pathak has intimated that the program comprises of total 14 number sessions covering broadly Project, Management, and Skills, Overview of Entrepreneurship Project Management, Project Identification & Project Formulation, Processes and Knowledge Areas, Financial Considerations in Managing Projects, A deep dive to Project Initiation. Planning and execution, Project Closeout and Case Study on Managing a New Project in an Educational Institute. Total 14 faculties have been participated and attended the complete training session in the program. The program was quite informative with new ideas and increase the knowledge base of the faculties.
Short term course on Instructional Delivery was organized for faculties of GTC by Department of Education & Educational Management of NITTTR Chandigarh from 4 – 8 December, 2017. Dr. Sunil Dutt, Dr. PK Tulsi, Er. Amandeep Kaur and Dr. M Dutta of NITTTR covered about Strategies of Active learning, Classroom Communication, Integration of Media in Teaching Learning, Delivering Effective Lectures, Case Study and Role Play and various effective teaching and learning methadology.
Expert Talk on 4G for Sustainable development was organized for faculties & Staff on 2nd December 2017. Guest Speaker was Aacharya Dariya Singh, Chairman, I.S.T.E(Indian Society For Technical Education) Rajasthan Section. He elaborated the meaning of 4G which is made up of four words: Ganesh; Ganga(the river Ganga); Gaaya(Cow or Mother); Gauri (Power or Energy or Girl). He explained the present scenario of pollution, availability of water and food. Flowerily welcome was done by Honorable Director Dr. Renu Joshi and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Ranjan Upadhyaya, Professor, MBA & HR, GIT.
